Overview :

Sri Sairam Institute of Technology proudly presents a four-year B. Tech course on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with an intake of 60 students from the academic year 2020-2021 . AI&DS is one of the emerging areas out of 10 special categories identified by AICTE and MHRD which can meet the upcoming requirements of the Industrial Revolution.

• The main intention of this programme is to prepare students to explore the fascinating and fast-moving field of artificial intelligence and data science.
• This course is an interdisciplinary branch of science, engineering and technology that aims to provide core technologies like machine learning , data warehouse, data mining and artificial intelligence and also gives in depth inputs in areas like artificial neural networks, fuzzy techniques, big data analytics and many more.
• Pursuing a course in AI and Data Science not only helps the students get better career opportunities but also open up job opportunities in multiple sectors in the field of machine learning, statistics, knowledge discovery, and visualization skills.It also opens up with wide research challenges thereby benefitting the society by solving everyday problems as well as driving scientific and technological progress that advances society and improves the quality of life.
